Native bees and fire in shrub steppe habitats of the Columbia Plateau
Dr. Brian Gilbert received a Bachelor’s of Science in Forestry and a Master’s of Science in Wildlife Science from the University of Washington and a Ph D. in Natural Resources from the University of Idaho. Brian has worked as a forester and a wildlife biologist, primarily for private landowners. In his career, he has specialized in big game population management and modeling as well as the impacts of forestry on wildlife. He currently teaches in the Fish and Wildlife Technicians program at SCC.
